To introduce myself, my name is Michael De Los Santos and I live in Durham, NC with my wife and two kids.  I currently work for Reinvestment Partners as the Director of Programs, and work part time for Action NC as their Communication and Online Outreach Director.  Outside of my family two of the things I care about are Politics and BBQ.

This blog will feature both BBQ and political topics. I will admit, I am a liberal and while I mostly vote for democrats, I do not believe that they get a free pass.  I want to use this space to talk about politics from an independent point of view.  Let’s talk about the good and bad from both sides of the aisle, and mix in some BBQ!
